Matrikx® PB1® filters, powered by Greenblock®, are made from 100% coconut bark carbon , a renewable and environmentally friendly material.

The carbon is processed into blocks, using a unique system to produce filters with a larger number of micro-pores, which show superior adsorption capacity.

Lead reduction

Matrikx Pb1 spare activated carbon filter neutralizes soluble lead using a highly soluble ion exchange ion filter. Uses particle filtration to block insoluble lead-containing particles.

Their lifespan ranges from 6 to 12 months, depending on the quality of the water through the filtration medium.
It is also suitable pre-filter (third stage) for reverse osmosis filter systems.
