The Senior Triplex 3P filter is ideal for filtering sediment, dirt and rust, but with the use of activated carbon it filters chlorine, chemicals, toxic and pesticides of drinking water and suitable for installation in the central supply.

The basic filter placement combinations are:
- In all three glasses solid particle filters (washable, thread, polypropylene), one thin (as a pre-filter), one medium and the last more dense
- In the first shell a solid particle filter (washable) as a pre-filter, in the second a solid particle (thread or polypropylene) and in the third also a solid particle (thread or polypropylene) denser
- In the first shell a solid particle filter (washable), in the second a solid particle (thread or polypropylene) and in the third an activated carbon suitable for central supply
- In the first shell a decomposition filter, in the second a solid particle (thread or polypropylene) and in the third an activated carbon suitable for central supply
- In the first shell a solid particle filter (washable or thread or polypropylene) as a pre-filter, and in the other two activated carbon suitable for central supply
